Last Friday a mobile farm came to our school. We saw lots of farm animals. We saw a pony, a pig, lambs, chicks, rabbits, hens, roosters, goats, donkeys and even a turkey. We got to hold a rabbit and a chick and some of us even got to feed a baby lamb! We had a great time. Thanks you Gerard for bringing your mobile farm to our school.
We had lots lots of fun making pancakes for Pancake Tuesday. We used three main ingredients when making them - flour, eggs and milk. First we sieved the flour. Then we whisked the eggs and added them to the flour. Next we added the milk and stirred the mixture. We then let the mixture set for a little while before Ms.O'Gorman brought it to the kitchen and cooked the pancakes for us. We then spread lots of Nutella on our pancakes. They were delicious!
During Science Week we planted bulbs. We planted daffodil, tulip, crocus, snowdrop and hyacinth bulbs. We needed a pot, compost and bulbs for planting. We were very careful when planting and made sure the roots were faced down and the shoot was faced up! We can't wait until Spring time to see our beautiful flowers.
