Welcome back to everyone! We are so lucky to be starting this year off in our new school. Over the summer the all weather pitch was finished as well as our beautiful garden area and benches. We will post pictures of these areas in the coming weeks.
Today we give a special welcome to our new students and their families! Look below for some photos of our Junior Infants enjoying their first Sos in primary school!
The children of 6th Class participated in the Annual River Cleanup on Wednesday. A huge effort was put in by all involved and was witnessed by Clare County Council's Environment Officer who was suitably pleased.
Such was the effort put in that all of 6th Class were given homework off as a reward!
Well done to the boys and girls of Junior Infants, their teacher and SNA who organised an Ice Cream Party in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland. It was a huge success and all classes contributed so generously to it! We all especially loved the yummy toppings!!
It was a beautiful day yesterday for what has become our annual performance in Ennis as part of the Fleadh Nua festival. This year students from Ennis N.S joined us which really added to the day. The students played pieces from the Seinn na nÓg programme as well as performances from dancers from both schools.
Be sure to check our Gallery to see photos of this year's Communion and Confirmation. Click on the photos to see more.
We recently entered a Girls and Boys team into the FAI 5-A-Side soccer competition in Lees Road. Both our teams were in the medium sized schools divisions and did the school proud.
Both teams got out of their respective groups and our Boy's came up just short, missing out on a County Final on goal difference.
Well Done to everyone involved on what was a very wet day in Lees Road!
