Welcome back for what promises to be an eventful and exciting term for Scoil Chríost Rí as we edge closer to entering our new school! In order to get the best resources for your children we have been doing a lot of fundraising and we thank you for your continued support.
Now is the perfect time to get a head start on your spring cleaning as our Clothes Collection Fundraiser is taking place this January! This is a great way to support the school as clothes will be exported to the developing world and the school gets some money for each bag. Any type of refuse bag can be used and we would really appreciate any help you can give to us with this fundraiser.

6th Class students Liam Harris, Savannah Moore and Ronan Herbert gave a fantastic presentation today at Intel's Shannon headquarters as they participated in Intel's much publicised annual Intel Mini Scientist Competition. A huge amount of work went into their project, titled: "Does the Size of the Green Matter to Par?". A huge well done to all involved. You have represented your school with pride, Congratulations.

On Friday 17th November, 4th Class went to the Clare County Council to meet the mayor of Ennis, Councillor Paul Murphy. This trip was part of the Junior Achievement Programme which 4th Class were participating in. The class got a tour of the council building and then spent time in the councillor's chambers asking the mayor some great questions! The day concluded with the Mayor presenting each pupil with their Junior Achievement certificates! Before leaving, the boys and girls got little bags of treats to eat back at school! It was a brilliant day!
